Boston, Massachusetts, July 27, 2021: LineVision, Inc., the world’s only provider of non-contact power line monitoring solutions, announced today that the company has appointed Lisa Frantzis to its board of directors. Ms. Frantzis is the Senior Managing Director at Advanced Energy Economy (AEE), a national business association dedicated to transforming policy that ensures a more secure, clean, and affordable energy system throughout the U.S., and is also a Partner at Guidehouse (formerly Navigant), where she has led their renewable and distributed energy team.
Ms. Frantzis is a longtime leader of AEE’s initiatives to accelerate the transition to a 21st-century electric system. She has hosted CEO and Public Utility Commission (PUC) forums that convene PUC Commissioners and advanced energy companies to share information on maximizing the benefits of new, advanced energy technologies for the electric power sector and its customers. She also leads AEE’s Utility Advisory Committee, which facilitates dialogue between utility and advanced energy executives on topics such as electric vehicle grid integration and distributed energy resources. She has worked for more than 35 years in clean energy consulting at Guidehouse and as a Director in the energy practice at Arthur D. Little. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Northeast Clean Energy Council and an Ambassador for the U.S. Clean Energy, Education, and Empowerment (C3E) Initiative.
Hudson Gilmer, CEO of LineVision, stated, “we’re thrilled to welcome Lisa to our board, bringing her vast experience in clean energy policy, technology development, and implementation. Her roles at AEE perfectly complement our work with utility transmission owners and operators, and her experience with PUCs and other regulators makes a real difference in transforming policy to help create a secure, clean, resilient, and affordable energy system throughout the U.S.”
“There is no more urgent imperative than creating a more resilient and modern grid to meet the challenge of our energy transition,” said Ms. Frantzis. “LineVision has been at the forefront in addressing the needs of our aged grid and I am very excited to be a part of their journey.”
