Tim Stelzer is recognized for leading digital transformations and building high-performing global technology teams to successfully deliver world-class new IoT measurement and cloud SaaS offerings to market serving a diverse range of industries such as energy, industrial, automotive and semiconductor.
Previously, Tim held senior R&D and application engineering leadership positions at NI (formerly National Instruments), a global leader in automated test & measurement systems. As Senior Director of Applications Engineering at NI, Tim led a team of engineers to design automated systems for the most ambitious emerging technologies such as autonomous driving and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), 5G RF semiconductors, and the clean, smart electric grid of the future.
In addition to his industry experience, Tim holds a post as Scholar in Residence at the University of Colorado and serves on several engineering industry advisory and volunteer boards.
Tim graduated with highest distinction from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, earning the department’s first Embedded Systems specialty. He is pursuing a Masters in Data Science at MIT, and holds post-graduate professional certificates in Renewable Energy and ML/AI.
Tim is married with three children who all share a passion for international travel and high alpine adventures. He is an avid ultramarathon runner, mountain biker and backcountry skier.
